Hey everyone! Laxman Adhikari here, reporting live from my awesome QA internship at Skybase Innovations. Three months in, and let me tell you, it's been a whirlwind of learning and fun!
As a QA intern, I basically get to be a software detective 🕵️. My mission? To find any bugs or glitches hiding in their apps and websites before they reach you, the amazing users! I spend my days testing all sorts of cool features, clicking around, and trying to break things (in a good way, of course).
But it's not all about smashing buttons (although that can be pretty fun). I also get to write up test plans, which are basically like roadmaps for finding those pesky bugs. Plus, I learned how to use awesome tools to help me sniff out any issues.
One of the coolest things has been working with the development team. They're these coding wizards 🧙🪄 who take my bug reports and fix everything up in a flash ⚡️. It's amazing to see how my work helps them make the software even better!
Here are some of the super rad skills I've picked up along the way:
• Testing Techniques: I'm now a pro at different testing styles, like finding cracks in the foundation (integration testing ) or making sure everything works smoothly together (system testing).
• Bug Squashing: Those bugs don't stand a chance now! I can identify them, write clear reports, and track them until they're squashed flat.
• Communication Central: Talking to developers and explaining issues clearly is key . I've gotten way better at expressing myself, which is a win-win for everyone!
But the internship isn't all work and no play. The Skybase team is like a second family - always there to lend a hand (or answer my endless questions). We have team lunches, game days where we battle it out in futsal matches ⚽, and even went on an epic hiking trip🚵♂️ to Karpu Danda🏔️.
All in all, this internship has been an incredible experience. I've learned a ton, made
some amazing friends, and even discovered a passion for finding those sneaky software
bugs. If you're looking for a fun and challenging QA internship, then Skybase
Innovations is definitely the place to be!
Thanks for reading my adventure! See ya!✌
